Counselor and Intern Program

The Counselor Program is for college students, high school seniors and rising seniors. It's a great opportunity for students who love music, enjoy mentoring younger campers, and who are eager to make the camp an awesome experience! Most counselors have been LSMC campers themselves, and many aspire to study music in college. Hiring preference will be given to older, more experienced applicants.

Counselors serve as assistants in various camp activities such as orchestra & sectionals, theory and technique classes, and the extended day program. Counselors also serve as administrative assistants. But most importantly, counselors serve in leadership & mentoring roles with campers. 

The Intern Program is a new component of LSMC that will give the participant hands on experience of how a Music educational nonprofit works. Most of the work will be office or media related. We are open to catering some aspects of the internship to your personal interests within the organization.
